What is EpicStaff and Why Do We Need It?

At the heart of this year’s hackathon was EpicStaff, an open-source platform for building AI agents with long-term memory. Its main purpose is to help users build intelligent workflows through a convenient interface and graph-based architecture. Thanks to memO, a persistent memory subsystem, agents can “remember” past sessions and deliver more personalized interactions.

Before the hackathon started, the EpicStaff team hosted an in-depth demo, showcasing the platform’s capabilities, use cases, and answering all participants’ questions.

How Did It Go?

Participants had one week to implement their ideas using EpicStaff. Creativity and functionality were important, but the jury also evaluated:

• Creativity: Is the idea fresh and inspiring?
• Technical Complexity: How advanced is the solution?
• Real-World Potential: Can it be useful beyond the hackathon?
• Presentation Quality: How convincingly is the project presented?

A total of four teams competed for top prizes, with two also contending for the audience choice award.

🚑 CureMind by Olha Burnos

Technology that can transform healthcare.

CureMind is an AI assistant designed specifically to support doctors in their daily work. The core idea is to reduce the burden on medical staff, speed up diagnostics, and make medical data processing far more efficient.

What can CureMind do?

• Analyze CT, MRI, and X-ray images with clinical precision
• Interpret blood test results and assist doctors in reaching faster conclusions
• Automatically fill out patient records, saving time during appointments
• Recommend drug alternatives — especially useful for patients with allergies
• Suggest potential diagnoses based on all incoming data

Who is it for?
Primarily for licensed doctors and clinics looking to optimize processes and focus more on patient care rather than paperwork.

💻 Landing Page Generator by Edvard Paseniuk

Your personal web studio in 5 minutes.

This project solves a common pain point — building landing pages. How do you do it quickly, with no hassle, complete with code and deployment? Landing Page Generator makes it possible.

How it works:

1. User describes the request: website topic, target audience, preferences.
2. The first agent team analyzes competitors, generates content, and builds a design concept.
3. The second team takes this info, writes the site code, and deploys it online.

What’s the outcome?
The user receives a ready-to-use website, a live link, and full source code — plus options to integrate the system with external services. EpicStaff acts as the central coordinator, distributing tasks among agents, managing logic, and ensuring smooth execution.

Intelligent search via Telegram – simple and user-friendly.

This project merges GraphRAG technology with a Telegram bot to make complex text search easy and intuitive.

How it works in practice:

• User accesses the Telegram bot and chooses an action: upload a file or type a query
• If a file is uploaded, the system indexes it automatically
• When indexing is done, the bot sends a readiness notification
• The user enters a query like “Who are the main characters in the book?” and the system finds the relevant info in context
• The response is delivered in a structured format right in Telegram

EpicStaff’s Role:
EpicStaff handles the logic behind it all: file storage, GraphRAG coordination, executing search requests, and delivering results.

🌍 Admin Panel Translator by Roman Nesterov

Fast content translation.

This project addresses a real-world challenge: European e-commerce often operates in multiple languages. Translating each product description manually is time-consuming and expensive. Admin Panel Translator automates the entire process.

How it works:

• User sends text content (e.g., product descriptions) via Telegram bot
• An agent with a clear role and memory processes the request and performs the translation
• The translated text is returned directly in Telegram

What’s special about it?
The system accounts for context, history, and the target audience — resulting in much higher accuracy than traditional translation tools. The project is highly scalable and ideal for automating large volumes of content.

And Finally…

EpicStaff Hackathon is not just about code and presentations. It’s about collaboration, creativity, experimentation, and growth. We’ve once again proven that AI is not something far-off, it’s a powerful tool we’re already integrating into daily work.
